2009 is coming to an end. Reflecting on it, I've done things which I have never expected myself to do. I think I could write a best-selling novel about it! The following are the main highlights:
1st: I lost one of my childhood friends. A very painful lost.
2nd: I failed to organise a pool party thanks to some backstabbing bastards. But I would like to thank them for now we all know your true colours and I know who my true friends are.
3rd: I changed my "underwear" on the 1st of May (if you know what I mean). Made new friends, made enemies but what the heck!
4th: I got to know wonderful people from FORTRESS Entrepreneur Resources.
5th: I'm in a foreign country all alone. I know how to (please don't laugh) clean the toilet and I can cook more dishes now. Haha!
6th: My actual results were better than my forecast results for my last semester in Nilai. I couldn't believe it but yea, I've actually double-checked it and YEAY!
7th: An on-off relationship for the past month. I shall not elaborate on this.
8th: I made a pledge to not shop for 3 months. Unbelievable? Believe it!
9th: I can now look forward to 2010 all thanks to Galv. An all expense paid trip to Phuket baby! (well, thats the agreement for now)
10th: My tolerance for alcohol has improved tremendously!
Basically, its all about the drama! And my likey very very muchie =)

They add drama into my life

I miss bugging them

Am I the only sane person at home?
I normally have a quarterly resolution. I think that is easier. At least you'll stick by it and not forget about it by June. But I shall list everything down this time round and decide later on.
a) Go on a detox plan at least once a year (on the amount of alcohol and smoke that I'm exposed to, I have to do this)
b) No shopping for the first three months of 2010 (Buying daily essentials does not count!)
c) Be nicer to the boyfriend (This is gonna be tough!)
d) More studying (I'm not gonna say less partying cause if I believe in the concept of "study hard, play harder!")
e) Decide if I want to work upon graduation or continue with my Masters in Finance/Marketing (Must negotiate with Dad)
f) Increase effectiveness and efficiency
I know myself very well. So those 6 resolutions ARE possible. Don't expect me to have resolutions like "Learn a new language" or "Learn to speak and write Mandarin" cause its impossible. Back when I was dating a Chinese guy, everyone (My parents were worst! They said I dated a Chinese guy cause of karma. Pffttt) was like "OMG! You got hope! You will be able speak fluent Mandarin and probably learn to read very soon." I made it a point to learn and write 10 new words in Mandarin every week. Look where am I now. I rest my case.
So what's YOUR New Year's resolutions? Remember, be a tad bit realistic. It might help to achieve the unachievable!
This song is worth listening to! ENJOY :)
Till then, Happy New Year!
xoxo, -carmen-
