That Time Of The Year

2009 is coming to an end. Reflecting on it, I've done things which I have never expected myself to do. I think I could write a best-selling novel about it! The following are the main highlights:

1st: I lost one of my childhood friends. A very painful lost.
2nd: I failed to organise a pool party thanks to some backstabbing bastards. But I would like to thank them for now we all know your true colours and I know who my true friends are.
3rd: I changed my "underwear" on the 1st of May (if you know what I mean). Made new friends, made enemies but what the heck!
4th: I got to know wonderful people from FORTRESS Entrepreneur Resources.
5th: I'm in a foreign country all alone. I know how to (please don't laugh) clean the toilet and I can cook more dishes now. Haha!
6th: My actual results were better than my forecast results for my last semester in Nilai. I couldn't believe it but yea, I've actually double-checked it and YEAY!
7th: An on-off relationship for the past month. I shall not elaborate on this.
8th: I made a pledge to not shop for 3 months. Unbelievable? Believe it!
9th: I can now look forward to 2010 all thanks to Galv. An all expense paid trip to Phuket baby! (well, thats the agreement for now)
10th: My tolerance for alcohol has improved tremendously!

Basically, its all about the drama! And my likey very very muchie =)

They add drama into my life

I miss bugging them

Am I the only sane person at home?

I normally have a quarterly resolution. I think that is easier. At least you'll stick by it and not forget about it by June. But I shall list everything down this time round and decide later on.

a) Go on a detox plan at least once a year (on the amount of alcohol and smoke that I'm exposed to, I have to do this)
b) No shopping for the first three months of 2010 (Buying daily essentials does not count!)
c) Be nicer to the boyfriend (This is gonna be tough!)
d) More studying (I'm not gonna say less partying cause if I believe in the concept of "study hard, play harder!")
e) Decide if I want to work upon graduation or continue with my Masters in Finance/Marketing (Must negotiate with Dad)
f) Increase effectiveness and efficiency

I know myself very well. So those 6 resolutions ARE possible. Don't expect me to have resolutions like "Learn a new language" or "Learn to speak and write Mandarin" cause its impossible. Back when I was dating a Chinese guy, everyone (My parents were worst! They said I dated a Chinese guy cause of karma. Pffttt) was like "OMG! You got hope! You will be able speak fluent Mandarin and probably learn to read very soon." I made it a point to learn and write 10 new words in Mandarin every week. Look where am I now. I rest my case.

So what's YOUR New Year's resolutions? Remember, be a tad bit realistic. It might help to achieve the unachievable!

This song is worth listening to! ENJOY :)

Till then, Happy New Year!

One Year Ago

Remember this song? A year ago, it was played in every single radio station, every Ipod, every club, everywhere! Yes, especially clubs. This song is normally the last song to be played and that is when you can see everyone going wild.

Oh and also Lollipop by Lil Wayne. We'll sing this song every week in the 8TV van. When the DJ plays this song in the club, all of us will gather and couple up and... It was like our theme song! Those two songs brought back a lot of memories.

Poppy. 2008. Think that was our first week with The Ultimate Prom Night (Click on the link to find out more. We are even on Wikipedia! I wonder who had so much time to do that). The night all 12 of us clubbed together for the first time. And that was the night I got thrown into the pool. One week later, we went back to the same club. That song was last on the playlist and I'll never forget what someone said to me that night though I was induced by alcohol. I'm sure if Shereen is reading this, she'll probably be laughing. I bet she remembers the night I found out the truth about certain someone.

Ahhh... I miss those times so badly! Partying every single weekend, as though the producers didn't make us go through enough hell during the day. Exchanging our dirty little secrets as though we have known each other for years. Stuck in a room with Biren, Arv, Ivan and Adam and they found out that I was ticklish. Mamak at ungodly hours of the day. The elimination process. Was made to sleep in the same room with Farhan and Ivan cause of some smart a*** fella. And the rest making me stay in the room with Adam after we "burst the bubble". Thank you so much!

The Day I Make A Pledge

I hereby make a pledge that I'll not shop for the next three months.

Urgghh! Its going to be hard but I know I can do it. They do refunds but its too pretty to let it go. I have spent 280 quid on shopping today. So thats 280*5.6= RM1568

OKAY, converting it into Ringgit Malaysia wasn't a wise move

My shopping bag at Next
Round One
Skinny jeans, a clutch and a top from Debenhams
Tops and a dress from Next
Formal wear from Next
Round Two
A bag and a top from Zara.

Of course, whatever's inside the La Senza bag shall remain a secret. 20pounds on lingerie. Go figure!

But you know what, I think I came out with the least items from Next. Some of them came out with 5-6 bags. One lady spent 500quid!

Crap! I still have another bag of items waiting to be delivered from Debenhams. Shopped online a few days ago.

So now you know why I made that pledge.

Till then, no more shopping

Xmas 2009

24.12.09

Someone f***ed things up and I thought "Great! Xmas just can't get any better". 25.12.09 should be our 7monthniversary but 15minutes before midnight (Malaysia time), it all ended. Nice. Around 8pm at night (UK time), I went out with Daphne, putting on a fake smile at first but then I thought "Oh silly, why let one person f*** your night up?"

Dinner at Zen Restaurant.
We actually had 4 more dishes waiting to be served at that time.
In the karaoke room
Lovely companion
Bad lighting. Nice picture nevertheless
Warming up session.

And the boys.

On our way home

25.12.2009

Went back to Daphne's place right after dinner and karaoke session. I don't understand why people enjoy karaoke. I don't see the point. No hard feelings. But it was fun listening to them singing chinese songs. The chinese side of me felt alive.

As though dinner wasn't enough, we had KFC waiting for us at home
The amount of alcohol we had.
Alcohol and presents.
They make me happy!
