I've Been A Bad Girl

Work and Love: I have not been updating my blog. Two reasons -

1) Started work last Wed and it is sucking the life out of me. Although its just part-time, after 9 hours of work, all I want to do at the end of the day is sleep. I cannot believe I signed up for this just so that I could kill time and shop (Note to boyfriend: I don't think the tradition of 'I give you a big angpao since its your first day of work, give me your account number' does exist!)

2) Say I don't have to work the next day, I'll either be watching my TV series (right now, Cougar Town and Heroes), which I left behind since I-don't-know-when, or doing some online shopping until 2.30am just so that I can talk to the boyfie. Its all worth the wait at the end of the day.

This officially becomes the first picture of him that I post here.

Studies: Yes! I got my First Class Honours Degree. I have proven many people wrong. I heard of rumours of people talking s*** behind my back 'Oh she's experiencing culture shock. Look at her screwing her life by partying and drinking all day and night!' Well.. FCUK YOU! I partied, I worked and I studied. I know what I'm doing and you shouldn't believe the pictures that you see. Convocation will be on the 24th of November. Interested to come to Bristol? HOPEFULLY, I would have been able to drive his manual car by then (Yes I'm a failure at manual cars!).

Received email from Uni of Bristol saying that I will know in two weeks time whether the admissions tutor will give me the green light to be accepted into the Uni for MSc in Econs, Finance and Mgmt. A mouthful I know.

Shopping: Mega Sales is making me broke. I have been shopping non-stop and packing to go back to UK is going to be a bitch. On top of the fact that I have been buying stuff online and having them sent to the boyfie's place. And I became generous last week and bought the latest Man Utd jersey for him. Should have bought one for myself too! DANG!

Till then, SHIT! I think I just promised him that I'll learn to cook Nasi Lemak and pack lunch for him to bring to work in the future.

Cheers to Today

One month!

It feels like yesterday when I was cheated into this relationship. No I was just kidding, mon amour. He's at work and I...well, I'm being a good girlfriend - staying up till he gets home, has his dinner and goes to bed then only will I go to bed. He finishes work at 7pm, UK time. So you do the math!

ANYWAY, Saturday house party was good with the close friends of mine. Mum made ALL the food. Had 8 bottles of hard liquor ready and a lot of Dad's stash of Carlsberg except that none of us were drunk besides my brother and his friends.

Let's eat leaves!
Half of the stash I got at home
the reason carlsberg is making profits
And then came more bottles - Bacardi and vodka
We went out for fresh air
Me and gor

All of us :)
Chocolate fondue

Ring of Fire - he had to drink that glass of malibu plus something and more malibu
After 'playing cards'

It is also James' 22nd birthday today! And I think I just wrote the most sincere message ever which turned out to be one of the best.

'My time in UK would have been different without you. You were there for me throughout all my ups and downs - every asshole who tried to come in my way, you were my bodyguard; every heartbreak you were there to listen to me rant and cry; every joy and laughter we shared together; every time I'm stressed up you would call and make sure I remember to breathe. Happy Birthday! Have a good time and I'll make it up to you for missing out the party on Saturday okay? xx'

After all, he has always been there for me and you guys know it.

Till then, cheers to two great celebrations on the 19th of July! *and I raise my glass of malibu rum plus milk*

Post WC Syndrome

Was your schedule like this for the past month?
7.30am - wake up, 7.31am - check odds for betting purposes, 7.40am - text friend and ask about his opinion, 7.50am - consider other sources for better odds/return, 8.15am - shower, 8.20am - have a cuppa coffee, text girlfriend and off you go for work, 9.00am to football match starts - you may be physically at work/doing bed business with your girlfriend/studying but mentally you are thinking of the odds, calculating the best return and whether you should bet on the number of corners/yellow cards to increase the inflow of your money. You then place your bet, watch football and the cycle continues the following day.

Don't worry, you are not alone. Over the next few days, you'll be suffering from these syndromes:

a) When you switch on the teevee, the first channel that comes across your mind is a sports channel

b) Whilst watching a hot sex scene of your favourite movie with your other half, you have the tendency of switching to a sports channel unconsciously (and then having your significant other yell at you)

c) Your biological clock is screwed up - you wake up at 2am and can only go back to sleep at 4.30am. You then gulp 4 cups of coffee within the first two hours of work.
d) All of the sudden, you are playing football/futsal at least twice a week and whenever someone asks you out for a session, you'll feel like a child all over again.

e) Your girlfriend drops subtle hints (yet like any man would do, you'll ignore it and pretend like you do not know anything) like 'Okay, I have given you your one month break because of WC. Happy?' (Note to men: what she meant was 'YOU BUGGER! I'VE BEEN NEGLECTED FOR A MONTH!')
f) You don't mind spending at least another 90 minutes of your life watching the same match again. This time round, you praise yourself for being so good at predicting scores and that you brag about being the next Paul

g) For extreme cases, you even start betting on other sports tournaments whether you are a fan or not!
h) You check your bookmark pages and one of them is soccernet.com

i) You feel like a reincarnation of Einstein - you could remember every single players' names, their positions and numbers, the countries they play for and to certain extent, whether they are left or right footed.
j) And as many of you know, I have a lot of guy friends. I notice that almost every one of them have an extra ball - football. What were you thinking aye?

k) You have Waka Waka on repeat on your player.
l) When you laugh you go 'Wakakakaka' instead of the typical 'Haha' and you realise that unintentionally, you do the Waka Waka dance

Till then, always bear in mind Liverpool's tagline: 'You'll never walk alone'. But unlike Liverpool fans, the only reason they are not walking alone is because they are walking with a bunch of losers. YOU, on the other hand, are walking with half the population of the world in coping with the aforementioned syndromes. Its about time to lend your friend a hand, call him out and have After World Cup Parties every weekend till EPL starts (I'm having mine soon!)

The Start of Something New

Each time I date a new guy, my girlfriends are the first to know. I appreciate their advises and comments. No doubt I have received numerous feedbacks (mainly negative ones) about the men I date but I have shoved them aside and responded by saying that I'll prove them wrong. I sometimes regret for not listening to my girls. If memory serves me well, the longest I have ever been in a serious relationship is 15 months with a guy who is one of my close friends now. If it doesn't work, it doesn't! Simple logic.
I'm not here to talk about my past relationships cause 1) most of you reading this might know most of it; 2) its the past, the good memories I will cherish, the bad ones I have left it by the drain at Masjid Jamek. I'm here today to tell you that for once, (and I stress again) FOR ONCE, I know that I made the right choice and if anything happens to this relationship, its going to hurt me most.

Lessons to learn (and Thank YOU, James):

a) You do not start a relationship through social networks
b) You do not start a relationship because of one drunken night in the club
c) You do not start a relationship because you had an affair with him once upon a time
d) The process of courtship is vital to start a healthy relationship
e) The 3Ts: Tell, Truth, Trust.

The start of something new. Unanimously, my best buddies have given me their full support (except that YPS has to stop calling him by that name but don't worry, its a problem that can be solved)

My First Week In KL

Its been almost a week since I got home. I have an unstable sleeping schedule but I'm not complaining, at least I get to bug the boyfriend after his working hours. One week has passed, only another 8-9 weeks to go before I get to annoy the hell out of him (I'm patiently waiting for my offer letter!).

The weekend I got home, Dad made a booking at a Jap restaurant behind KLCC (cannot remember the name). Awesome food accompanied by a bottle of Sakae and I did a shot with bro and dad (my father couldn't believe when he said 'Down it' to his kids).

Then came Monday I went back to Nilai to meet up with all the crazy people whom I love followed by lunch and shopping with my girls, until the boys decided to join us (FYI, clothes at Cotton On are overrated for such quality!)

Lunch @ Nilai.

Picture of the couple. Haaa! I'm going to be killed for saying this
He kept quiet for a good 30 minutes to tie a knot with a cherry stick
A long kisser, or so he claims. LOL!
I hope boyfie knows which one I want. HAHA!
JULIAN!
We just had to do it. Until that gay dude came up to us and said no pictures.
And I wanted to respond, 'the only thing straight about you is your hair!'
But as always, we couldnt be bothered!

Chilling at Starbucks
Girls and cameras!
And spent the night with Farid at Pelita and Solaris afterwards for shisha before heading home (=

So, all is good back home. Not much changes besides my mum's stand on getting me a car. When something happens to one of her kids while taking the public transport one of these days, she's going to regret for the rest of her life. That was what I said to her. Its MALAYSIA, its NEVER safe here. One of the many reasons as to why I'm moving out of this country.

Till then, I have to layan my other half.

Jet-lagged!

Its 5.30am in Malaysia. I'm wide awake all thanks to the 'afternoon nap' (it was 4pm UK time. I would normally be napping while he's at work just so that I could waste time) I had after the Portugal-Brazil match. My flight was all good. I had a 12 hour part-time job as a pig - all I did was eat, sleep, eat and sleep. Nasi lemak was my first meal the moment I got home, followed by the family's favourite part - unpacking my luggages!

Since I'm going to proof to the boyfie that I'm not as lazy as he is, I have uploaded the pictures from the parties at Syndicate. One was on Wednesday, the other on Friday.
