My dad taught me that simple phrase. A phrase which means a lot to me. I have been learning to ignore certain things around me but I have to say, its really difficult. Life is a learning process. Okay, I'm not going to be all philosophical about life and ya dee ya daa. I'm probably the last person on Earth to be giving all the ohmyGodiwanttosleep talks (RL, you'll be getting it from your dad instead. Galvo, you know what I'm talking bout here)
My arse is numb right now. Whenever I have the urge to answer Mother Nature's call, its just so pleasurable to stand up and walk. I've been hibernating in my room for the past4 days. Only went to Uni today for ONE idonknowwhatiwaslearningbecauseahotguywassittingnexttome lecture.
I've been spending 17hours in front of the laptop daily doing my Advanced Management Accounting assignment. I'm going to need an eye check-up very soon. I have to say, this is probably the best piece of bulls*** I've ever written in my life. Okay, I was lying. My best piece of crap was my Law assignment, up to the point where my Mum made me redo the entire thing, with her help of course. Point is, I'm feeling good about this report *fingers crossed*
I checked my UWE Mail today and guess what I found?
There's an award for Accounting and Finance students, on top of The Hargreaves Lansdown Prize for the Best Student on BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance..its The ICAEW Prize for the Best Accounting in Context Project on BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance!
The best student award is definitely something almost impossible for me to get. I suck when it comes to exams (I get up-to-my-standard marks for assignments but pulled down by exams. My once-upon-a-time-perfect record is now something which I'm not proud of). I'm more of an assignment person, hence, I've got that ICAEW Prize on my "what to achieve" list.
Till then, I'm can't wait to get fcuked up this Friday!
