Of food and the man I love

I'm back from my weekend. If you have been reading my plurks, you would have known by now that MY BOYFRIEND CAME DOWN FOR THE WEEKEND! =D It's always so good to have him around.

He came to Ampang on Sat and we went grocery shopping at Ampang Point. He became a chef for the day. Cooked dinner for my Carven, Manwyn and Me and for himself, of course (I don't starve him. It explains why he, and I quote Peter, looks chubbier). I found myself a perfect boyfriend. I'm hopeless in the kitchen and he doesn't mind! (or at least I hope so). Oh well, there's always 1300-13-1300 and 1300-88-2525 =)

Checked into Cititel the next day and headed for lunch at Sushi Zanmai. We were so stuffed after the Stamina Roll (sounds wrong but whatever) but it didn't stop us (or at least me) from buying Durian Durian from Big Apple and durian pancakes =) Watched I Love You Beth Cooper at night. It was hilarious! The movie ended an hour before the country turned 52 years old. We headed straight back to the room, waited patiently for the fireworks display but there wasn't any! Pffttt...

Well, we had breakfast at Secret Recipe on Monday. I had my Chocolate Indulgence and baby had his gourmet pie. And two hours later, we had lunch at Popeye's. They just had their grand opening the day before! Of course, the both of us shared a set meal. We always do.
